Black Growth and Development

10-Year Black Growth &
Development Plan

A decade-long, phased roadmap — created by Lawrence Ross — to transform Black economic power through 3D construction technology, HBCU partnerships, community investment, and AI-powered strategy.

"In TEN YEARS, African Americans can be taking over the 3D Print industry as the UAE is seeking to do. The plan is viable. The plan is now."

The Core Idea

Black Growth and Development's mission is to economically empower the African American community worldwide. The vehicle? A bold, three-part plan that begins with an unlikely hero: the 3D large-scale construction printer.

This is not a program. It is not a petition. It is a business plan — with real assets, real revenue, and a real path to community transformation. The plan was designed to generate national attention for Black America: imagine being the only organization in the country with not one, but three 3D construction printers — and not even being in the construction industry. That attention becomes the launch pad for everything that follows.

The Roadmap

Four Phases Over Ten Years

Phase 1 — Years 1–2

Launch & Visibility

  • Purchase 2–4 large-scale 3D construction house printers (sourced domestically or internationally as needed)
  • Rent printers to trained Black-owned contractors — generating revenue from day one
  • Architect partnerships with HBCUs for future talent pipeline
  • Expect printer profitability within 6–7 months of consecutive use
  • Generate national attention as the only Black organization operating multiple 3D construction printers
  • Use media visibility to launch 'The Plan' to Black America — a Community Action Blueprint
Phase 2 — Years 2–4

Building the Foundation

  • Reinvest 3D printer revenue into the National Black Endowment Fund
  • Establish community investment vehicles: cooperatives, CDFIs, and Black-owned banks
  • Launch financial literacy and homeownership education programs nationally
  • Begin supplier diversity advocacy with major corporations and government entities
  • Seed 500+ Black-owned small businesses through micro-grants and mentorship
Phase 3 — Years 4–7

Scale & Diversify

  • Expand 3D construction printing operations to multiple states
  • Launch a Black-led technology incubator program in partnership with HBCUs
  • Fund affordable housing developments using endowment capital and 3D printing technology
  • Grow the endowment to $100M+ through donations, revenue, and investment returns
  • Establish regional hubs in 10 major U.S. cities to coordinate economic programming
Phase 4 — Years 7–10

Transformation at Scale

  • Operate as a nationally recognized self-sustaining endowment — permanently funding Black economic development
  • 3D construction printers deployed in 20+ markets, building affordable Black homeownership
  • HBCU-trained architects, engineers, and tech leaders staffing endowment-funded enterprises
  • AI systems continuously optimizing fund allocation for maximum community impact
  • Model replicated internationally — empowering the African diaspora beyond U.S. borders
The Reasoning

Why This Plan Works

Tangible Asset — 3D Printers

Unlike abstract funds, the 3D construction printer is a visible, revenue-generating asset that generates immediate community attention and capital.

HBCU Pipeline

By partnering with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, we ensure Black talent trains, builds, and leads every aspect of the plan.

AI-Optimized Strategy

Artificial intelligence continuously analyzes data to direct resources where they create the greatest measurable impact for Black communities.

Community Ownership

The endowment is owned by and accountable to the community — not corporations, not government. Black America directing its own future.

Replicable Model

Each success—each printer, each business, each home built—becomes a template that other communities can follow and scale.

Perpetual Capital

An endowment, by design, grows permanently. The interest and returns fund community programs forever, not just for a budget cycle.

Fund the 10-Year Plan

Every dollar donated to the National Black Endowment Fund helps purchase the printers, build the programs, and launch the plan that will change everything.
